Building in the Trenches

In the early days, there was no playbook—just people.

A small but remarkable team of about 15, mostly in Lagos, doing everything from product development to customer service. Everyone wore multiple hats. Everyone was invested. Everyone cared deeply.

Although there were challenges initially, such as filling key roles, working with limited resources, and earning trust in an industry where many had been let down previously, we had something powerful: a relentless belief in our mission and each other.

That belief kept us moving forward regardless, until what was once an idea began to snowball into something far greater than we had first envisioned.

What Drives Us Makes Us Different

Ask us what drives us, and we won’t show you a profit graph. Instead, we’ll tell you about the mother whose initial investment was what laid the foundation for her child getting through school.
